It was quite the close shave.
A brazen gunman was caught on video holding up a Bronx barber — as his shell-shocked customer sat inches away in his chair.
Cops are now looking to identify the suspect in the mid-service stickup at the ET Barbershop on East 183rd St. in the Belmont section shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday.
The NYPD on Saturday released a photo and surveillance video that captures the chilling incident.
The stunning 70-second clip shows the gunman — 30 to 35 years old, 6-foot-1, wearing a black baseball cap, a white shirt, beige shorts and black sneakers — enter the shop and ambush the 27-year-old barber.
The robber pulls out a gun and demands property right next to the barber cloth-covered customer, who appears frozen in his chair.
The barber handed over four gold chains, a Rolex watch, a ring, a gold bracelet, two cell phones and $700 in cash, police said.
The bandit made the victim drop the items into a black plastic bag reading “Thank you for shopping here!” before he booked it westbound on East 183rd Street, police said.
No one was injured.
“I’ve never seen this guy in my life,” the victim told The Post on Saturday. “I gotta work now to get everything back. In this game there’s nobody helping nobody.”
