Azalea City Nails to Open in Takoma Park – Source of the Spring

Azalea City Nails will open this month in Takoma Park, according to an announcement from Main Street Takoma.
The salon, which will be located at 7310 Carroll Avenue at the Takoma Junction, will open Tuesday, September 28th, according to a post to the salon’s Instagram account. The salon will focus on natural nails with waterless services and a line-up of non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free polishes.
Azalea City Nails, helmed by Cortney Palmiero, joins sister salons Scissor & Comb at 7009 Carroll Avenue and Georgie’s Barber at 6929 Laurel Avenue in Takoma Park. “I am thrilled to share my take on a neighborhood nail salon: fun, colorful, intimate, inclusive, and full of life,” Ms. Palmiero said in a statement. “With the planet and the well-being of our team and our guests in mind, we’re excited to bring waterless services and a non-toxic polish line-up to Takoma Park. We’re proud to be a part of this community, and look forward to opening our doors for relaxation, inspiration, and an all-around feel-good time.”
