Brighton CEO Paul Barber says the club will do everything possible to provide extra transport options to help fans get to their Boxing Day clash against Brentford.
Albion were set to play the newly-promoted Bees on December 26 at the Amex at 2pm but that was moved to 8pm as Sky Sports picked it for live TV coverage.
Supporters were not best pleased with this announcement as the vast majority rely on public transport, specifically trains, to get them to the Amex, but they will not run on Boxing Day.
Last month, Barber said the Sussex outfit, who beat Brentford 1-0 in September, will do as much as they can to get supporters to the contest.
At the weekend ahead of the Seagulls' draw with Newcastle, he said their plans to make this possible will be announced soon.
"With five of our seven matches next month live on TV, we are of course seeing a number of changes to the dates and kick-off times of our fixtures," he said in his most recent pre-match programme notes.
"As is always the case, the various changes suit some season-ticket-holding fans and not others, and as is always the case, live coverage means that many Albion fans who can’t visit the stadium will be able to see many more of our matches during one of the darkest and coldest months of the year.
"For the late kick-off on Boxing Day when Brentford visit, we will be doing everything possible to provide additional transport options to help supporters get to and from the stadium when we know public transport options are far more limited. We hope to announce these plans soon."
