BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – Studio 7 Sun and Salon has opened their doors to Buckhannon residents for haircuts, tanning and so much more.
The salon, located in Skyline Plaza near Kroger, is under new ownership, as Kelley Spencer takes on the career endeavor with great support from God, her coworkers, family, friends and the Buckhannon community.
“I’ve wanted to be a hairdresser since I was around 10 years old,” Spencer said. “I was cutting everything — my own hair, my brother’s hair, the dog’s hair, the cat’s hair. I just knew it was my thing. I feel like God has a plan for me, and this is it.”
Since their opening in mid-September, Studio 7 has grown their client offerings to a wide variety of services.
Services include:
This salon acts as a home-away-from-home for many people, as that sense of welcoming is felt as soon as you walk through the doors. “I want people, when they come in, to feel like they’re at home,” Spencer said.
Experience this sense of home for yourself at the upcoming Halloween Trick-or-Treat event held at the Skyline Plaza in Buckhannon on Saturday, October 16 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Staff of Studio 7 Sun and Salon, as well as other business owners, will pass out candy to local children in attendance.
