A teaser trailer of Downton Abbey: A New Era has given fans a first glimpse of the period drama film, that is set to be released in cinemas in March 2022.
The trailer reveals the cast of Downton Abbey has gone continental, with part of the new film taking place in the French Rivera.
Footage shows Dowager Countess Violet Crawley, played by Dame Maggie Smith, telling her family she has been left a villa in the south of France by man she knew years before.
