Flourish Hair Gallery opening sister salon in Port Huron’s north end – The Times Herald

Port Huron businesswoman Naesa Richardson is expanding her business and footprint in Port Huron.
Richardson, owner of Flourish Hair Gallery at 2125 Military St., said she plans to open a sister in Port Huron’s north end later this month and host a grand opening ceremony.
“Everybody’s invited,” she said.
Richardson plans to open the sister , Cuts at 2838 Pine Grove Ave., at 11 a.m. Oct. 18. There will be a grand opening ceremony starting at 2 p.m. Oct. 30, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:15, refreshments immediately following and a trunk or treat event from 3 to 6 p.m.
She’s been planning this expansion since September. She was already looking at properties to invest in when Joyce Doyle, Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce membership sales manager, told her about the  opportunity on the north end, Richardson said.
“Naesa is a highly motivated young woman,” Doyle said in an email. “She and her business are assets to our community.”
Richardson said the location is basically turnkey and she plans to customize it before opening.
Salon services will include body sculpting, body waxing, facials, eyelash extensions, custom hair coloring and haircuts for men and women. Richardson said she works with every texture of hair.
The salons will be different when it comes to layout, Flourish Hair Gallery has its own rooms while Salon Cuts has an open layout, and Salon Cuts will have more services than the south end salon, but the quality of services is still “a cut above” at both, Richardson said.
She’s excited for the grand opening, it’s another way to bring the community together again after the pandemic, and she’s happy to expand her business after opening Flourish Hair Gallery in 2019.
“I’m good now, I feel secure,” she said.

Salon customer Angela Cracchiolo of Chesterfield Township said she would encourage people to try Richardson’s salon.
Around two years ago she was looking for someone to professionally braid her then 4-year-old daughter’s hair. Someone suggested Flourish Hair Gallery and now she’s been back twice and has monthly appointments.
Her daughter is really proud of her hair afterward and Cracchiolo enjoys the people and the care they take with her daughter.
“I love the atmosphere and the service and staff! Everyone there is so personable and it is just a simple hair salon with a lot of talent to offer!,” she said in a written message.
