Ellis Alexander "Pete" Barber – WCLU

Ellis Alexander “Pete” Barber, 59, of Tompkinsville, KY, formerly of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Thursday, September 16th, at Monroe County Medical Center.
Pete was born in Tulsa, OK on January 13, 1962, a son of Phyllis Ann (George) and the late Edward Alexander Barber.
On August 25, 2007, he married Charlotte Ann Gillenwater in Bowling Green, KY.
He was a Crude Oil Analyst at Kentucky Oil and Refining Company. He attended Life Fellowship Church while in Bowling Green, KY and Mill Creek Baptist at Tompkinsville, KY.
Pete is  survived by his wife, Charlotte Barber, of Tompkinsville, KY; mother, Phyllis Ann Barber of Bowling Green, KY; two daughters, Bethany Barber, of Tompkinsville, KY and
Jessica Barber, of Bowling Green, KY;  four sons, Martin Douglas Barber, of Tompkinsville, KY;  Lucas Barber, of Bowling Green, KY;  Colton Barber, of Bowling Green, KY and David Stinnett, of Bowling Green, KY;  and 8 grandchildren.
Pete is also survived by two sisters, Susie Ellis, and Sandy Holmes, both of Oklahoma;
four brothers, Jeff Barber, of Bowling Green, KY;  Eric Barber, of Bowling Green, KY;  Steve Page, of South Carolina and Clifford Steven Walton, of Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 20th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY with Bro. Larry Lowe officiating. Burial to follow at Beautiful Home Cemetery. Visitation is Monday morning after 9:30 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Pete’s memory may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
