People on the move at Marcus, Omni and Pacifica – Hotel Business

Companies in the hospitality industry are filling positions, including The Marcus Corporation adding a new corporate controller/treasurer.
Marcus adds Paris as corporate controller/treasurer
Chad Paris has joined The Marcus Corporation as corporate controller/treasurer. Paris will report to Douglas A. Neis, EVP/CFO, The Marcus Corporation.
Paris brings to the company a strong background in finance and accounting with significant financial transaction experience. Most recently, he served as SVPCFO at Jason Group Inc., formerly Jason Industries Inc., a Milwaukee-based global manufacturing company. In this role, he led the company’s accounting and reporting, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, investor relations and information technology functions.
He played a critical role in Jason’s corporate financing transactions and strategic portfolio management, including various business acquisitions and divestitures. He started there in 2014 as director of external reporting before being promoted to the roles of VP, investor relations, financial planning and analysis, and VP finance— finishing, Americas. Earlier in his career, he served as audit senior manager for Deloitte & Touche LLP, a global accounting firm and professional services network.
Omni makes two senior leadership appointments
Omni Hotels & Resorts has appointed Brent Lessing to the position of chief information and digital officer and Natalie White to the position of VP, CRM & loyalty.
Since joining Omni Hotels & Resorts in 2019 as chief information officer, Lessing has led the Information Technology team and made strides in improving the company’s core infrastructure to move to cloud-based technologies. In his new role as chief information and digital officer, his responsibilities expand to include CRM and loyalty and developing the brand’s digital strategy to improve the guest experience.
New to Omni Hotels & Resorts and the Information Technology team, White is responsible for refining and leading Omni’s loyalty and customer relationship management programs to drive engagement, focus on growing customer lifetime value and increase revenues.
Prior to joining the company, she worked as a consultant, where she was responsible for creating loyalty, digital and eCommerce strategies. At the start of her career, she worked her way up on the operations side of the hotel business before moving to her true passion of marketing. Previously, she has held marketing leadership roles at Wyndham Worldwide, Kimpton Hotels & Resorts, Vino Volo and Aimbridge Hospitality.
Pacifica names Nieves corporate beverage manager
Pacifica Hotels has added Manny Nieves as corporate beverage manager. With more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he brings a new and creative flavor to Pacifica Hotels’ growing number of restaurants and bars, the company reports.
Starting his path early, Nieves was intentional with his career choices and wanted access to a culture rich in flavor and hospitality at a young age. He began his career in the restaurant industry at 17 years old, landing positions at several coveted programs in Southern California. Nieves advanced through bar programs at Waterfront Enterprises, Avenue of Arts Hotel and Pie Cocktail Society. Prior to Pacifica Hotels, Nieves worked for 213 Group of Downtown Los Angeles at Seven Grand. He joined Pacifica Hotels during the COVID-19 pandemic at The Wayfarer DTLA and has been an integral part in the reopening of many of the portfolio’s restaurants and bars since then.
