HARRISBURG – State Rep. Lynda Culver (R 108th-Sunbury) authored two pieces of legislation that would free up barber and cosmetology students to accomplish part of their course of instruction away from the classroom has been signed into law by Gov. Tom Wolf.
Rep. Culver’s House Bills will allow students in barber and cosmetology schools across the Commonwealth the ability to engage with their instructors remotely for the theory-based portion of the curriculum. Up to 50% of the program in both areas of study can be administered through online and/or other remote instruction.
