•Shanqwena K. Mitchell, 28, of Daytona Beach, was arrested Nov. 6 and charged with domestic battery by strangulation and child-act could result in physical or mental injury. Bail was not set.
•Jerry R. Berkhous, 29, of Daytona Beach, was arrested Nov. 5 and charged with burglary of an unoccupied structure and petit theft. Bail was set at $2,500.
