When browsing hotels in Houston, there are plenty of things to consider: location, unique amenities, price and on-site offerings like day spas where you can be pampered.
Whether you’re looking at hotels in downtown Houston, hotels near Houston’s Galleria or hotels in another part of the city, you’ll find five hotels on our list that offer day spas, so you can leave feeling polished and refreshed.
ZaSpa located inside Hotel ZaZa.
Situated in the heart of Houston’s Museum District, Hotel ZaZa’s in-house spa, ZaSpa, is an over-the-top escape (think gilded mirrors and velvet upholstery with leopard print) designed to transport guests with services to unite the body, mind and spirit.
Holistic and modern healing techniques are both used here—the spa has infrared saunas and incorporates botanical products in its customized facials, massages and exfoliating treatments. Whether you opt for the cleverly named massages (prenatal massages are called Who’s Your Daddy; a detoxifying session is titled The Morning After) or the age-reversing facials, ZaSpa promises to have you rejuvenated.
Bonus: ZaSpa can host groups, is open to those who aren’t hotel guests and offers a rewards program called Relax. Reward. Repeat., that gives members added perks.

The Soaking Pools & Garden is an outdoor oasis at The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa.
Just outside of the Loop, near Memorial Park, The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa is a true Texas resort, with historic buildings situated on 27 beautifully landscaped acres. Its spa, Trellis Spa at the Houstonian, has a Mediterranean ambiance in a newly upgraded space.
Trellis offers all the services you might expect: manicures and pedicures, facials, massages and body treatments (like scrubs and body-sculpting wraps), plus packages that bundle several services for a day away. But what makes The Houstonian’s spa special is its Soaking Pools & Garden, an outdoor retreat built for contrast bathing with a hot tub, ambient pool and cold shower, surrounded by plush lounge and rocking chairs, cabanas and verdant gardens. The Tranquility Room and Reflection Pool are restful sanctuaries to be enjoyed before or after spa treatments, and the locker rooms are outfitted with jetted tubs, showers and steam rooms.
Snacks, tea and spa water are available throughout your stay, but Trellis offers a menu of dining options that fit the wellness vibe, including shareable plates, salads and sweets (with sparkling wine, to match).
Bonus: The Houstonian resort is home to a world-class fitness center for its private club members, complete with indoor and outdoor tennis courts, pools, boxing and more.

The reception area of Mokara Spa & Salon at Omni Houston Hotel.
Omni Houston Hotel in Uptown houses the Mokara Spa & Salon—a reimagined eight-room day spa with a relaxation room and a full-service hair and nail salon. Its sleek, contemporary design of wood and white ceramic elements make it easy to forget the world outside.
In addition to the spa’s relaxation lounge, visitors will enjoy access to the two on-site outdoor pools and a fitness center that features treadmills, free weights and Peloton bikes. Guests can unwind with treatments like facials, massages and scrubs either as individual services or cleverly combined with names like Cowboys and Cowgirls Massages (a couples massage) or Jet-Lag Relief, an invigorating massage enhancement designed for weary travelers.
Bonus: The Mokara has a unique option for would-be resort regulars: a membership that includes discounts on spa services, drinks, dining and parking, as well as access to the lounge, resort pool and fitness facility.

Near The Galleria, Houston’s Uptown neighborhood is home to one of the city’s most notable hotels: The Post Oak at Uptown Houston. The 38-story high-end resort is equipped with a salon, fitness center, pool (with private cabanas, fire pits and dining) and a 20,000-square-foot spa.
The spa incorporates ancient and global wellness techniques into its lavish treatments, like aromatherapy and massage, but offers modern regimens like LED light therapy, too. The Post Oak’s spa offers facials, body scrub and wrap treatments and massage, but also a unique series of services called Wellness Treatments, designed to treat not only external issues but internal ones, too (for example, the Inner Strength treatment is designed for those who lack confidence or who have experienced trauma).

Synonymous with luxury, the Four Seasons Hotel Houston is in the heart of downtown Houston. And its spa is no exception, offering the type of elegance you’d expect from the brand. Its recently refurbished fourth floor is home to the 2,500-square-foot fitness center, adjacent pool with expansive city views and the spa.
The spa has a cool, neutral and minimalist feel with plenty of space for guests to feel pampered. Massages range from deep tissue to prenatal, and there’s a range of scrubs on the menu that use scents like rose, citrus and vanilla. In an area lined with massage chairs, guests can get deluxe mani-pedis or treat themselves to detoxifying facials that use raw, organic plant-based skincare products from Laurel Skin.
Bonus: The Four Seasons Houston spa, like many spas, offers couple massages, but it also has a unique option called Night Spa, allowing private use of the entire spa from 7-10 p.m. and access to 100 minutes of services including a body scrub and massage, followed by bites from Toro Toro and a bottle of Champagne. Added bonus: you get to keep the robes.
