2 men arrested over shooting to death of QC salon owner – GMA News Online

Police authorities have arrested two men suspected to be behind the killing of salon owner and journalist Gwenn Salamida in Quezon City, according to Glenn Juego’s report on Super Radyo dzBB.
In August, Salamida was shot dead at her own beauty salon and spa in Barangay Apolonio Samson.
The La Loma Police Station said that the suspects, identified as Nilo Payag Anub and Richard Go Alaba, were arrested on September 3 in Barangay Commonwealth.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Tyrone DG Valenzona said CCTV footage showed that the suspects were picked up by a Toyota Corolla with a plate number TSG 684 after they shot the victim.
Through follow-up operations, authorities found that the vehicle stopped at the Sto. Niño Street. Valenzona said the suspects attempted to flee but were caught.
Authorities retrieved a 38 caliber revolver, a grenade, 2 bullets of M203, and the vehicle. -Joahna Lei Casilao/NB, GMA News
